He showed me samples and gave me his advice on the types of shades that would suit my unique windows. He measured accurately and patiently took his time to discuss any impediments or issues I might face. His manner was friendly, polite, and efficient as he gave me a clear breakdown of my costs and options for windows and patio sliders. I loved the zebra shades, fabric, and patterns. They were available in great colors. To my surprise the shades came in early and Laurence was able to install them within a day after they arrived. Moved into our new home, no blinds or curtains are provided in new builds (sadly). So off to Lowes, Home Depot and other blind companies to obtain new blinds and some privacy !! One company stood out Royal Shades and Blinds not just because Laurence is a fellow Brit (albeit a Southern Brit!!) but we wont hold that against him…much, ahem. Not only did he spend time measuring our windows with attention to detail, he then sat down with the wife (no hubby input here, I get it wrong I’m dead!!) and went through the colour options and recommending the best shades for each room some weird colour names but he got it bang on so no moaning.
As stated we also had the big companies in and when the quotes came in I almost died, how much !! I was having blinds installed not gold thread or so I tought. Them Royals quote came in ..nearly 33% less than the others I still had tears in my eyes but it was a hell of a lot better than any other quote we had.
Deposit paid stiff whisky swallowed and a wait of 3 weeks to install. Royal installed my blinds in less than day and they look incredible even the coconut (yes coconut) shades in the bedroom were a perfect match for the beige ! walls. We have total privacy, the blackouts in the living room are perfect for my Home Cinema and the Patio Blinds look fantastic.
I doubt you will find a better company on price, quality and service, give them a call today.

Our experience with Royal Shades and Blinds was excellent. Laurence presented us with several options that we had not previously considered when shopping at the big box stores. Our property is oceanfront and the shades that we purchased for our 3 panel sliders, with Laurence's guidance, allow us to take full advantage of the spectacular view even when the shades are closed. Shades are necessary to block the early morning sun/heat but not for privacy due to the elevated location of the property. We chose black out shades for the bedroom to ensure darkness for sleeping. Laurence was very patient with the color choosing process to match and accentuate our decor. The customer service was outstanding from start to finish. The installation was easily scheduled and Laurence took the time needed to be sure that the motorized shades operated smoothly.
